This project involved designing a brain health magazine that presented complex information in a clear, engaging, and visually appealing way.
The goal was to create a layout that was both accessible to a diverse audience and aligned with the magazine’s mission of promoting cognitive wellness.
Challenge
Designing a magazine layout that communicates complex information about brain health in an engaging, accessible, and visually appealing way. The magazine needed to strike a balance between being scientifically accurate and approachable to a diverse audience, including medical professionals, caregivers, and individuals with varying levels of health literacy.
Additionally, the design had to align with the magazine's brand identity while ensuring the layout was easy to navigate and optimized for both print and digital formats.
My process
To begin this project, first I had to work on the creative brief to fully understand the objective of this editorial design, which was followed by rough sketches of how this magazine would be.
Sketches
First I worked on sketches of how I want the magazine to look like, also what sort of illustrations and pictures would be used in this magazine. Then it's followed by flat plan which finalized the design before starting working on the design in InDesign.
Flat Plan
After that I had to create few flat plan to finally decide on one before starting working on illustrations, images and colours.
